Fly Away Home

In this picture I see Amy with her geese. She’s helping the geese to fly.

The geese follow Amy all the time so she thinks of a way to take them to the sky.

Amy’s father Bill was a little sad because he had to feed all the geese.

The geese were sixteen. In this picture Amy is in a marsh near her father’s house.

Amy was a little girl. Her mother died . So she moved to her father’s house.

In this picture I see Amy with his father Bill. Bill is teaching Amy to fly an aeroplane. He was an engineer.He is one of the principal characters in the story .

David, Bill’s brother, and Barry ,Bill’s partner , helped Bill to
build the two planes.

 

In this picture I see Bill teaching the geese to follow him.

The geese generally don’t follow him. They follow Amy because they think that Amy is their mother.

Amy thinks that Bill was crazy because he is a nervous person,

his house was a mess and when he was angry- he was a little rude.

Bill’s house was in Australia in the middle of a marsh, far away from the city.

Then she has to go to school every day. And it was a long way to go.

 

Bill was divorced from Amy’s mother when she died. He was a very self-confident man and had a lot of perseverance .He was also a little inflexible with his daughter .He had a lot of patience to teach the geese to fly and to teach Amy to fly because the first time that Amy flew a plane she fell down and
hurt her leg.

When he was traveling to the south he fell down near Amy in the forest and he broke his leg. David , Barry and Susan, his girlfriend, cooperated a lot with him.

When Amy left her mother´s house she was very sad because of her death.

When she entered Bill´s house she thought that her father was crazy because the house was a mess.

One day , while walking along the marsh near a lake she found sixteen eggs ,she took an old dress and she put the eggs on it. Then she put them in a cupboard .

The next day when she finished the school she went to see her eggs and she found sixteen little geese. When the geese saw her they thoughthat she was her mother and the they
followed her all the time .

When Bill saw the geese he was happy and a little sad because he had to feed all of them.

 

 

Personal Opinion

I think that this story can happen in real life because it is possible to teach geese to fly but it is hard work to teach how to follow a plane.It requires a lot of perseverance, a lot of patience and an extraordinary peace of mind to do this because it is very tiring . And you have to have a lot of money to do it. Now it is very difficult . I think only a rich man can do this because a plane is very expensive . It would take a long time if you have to learn how to fly and you have to teach the birds how to fly and how to follow you all the time because if they don´t follow you in the sky they can get lost.You have to love the birds especially the geese to fly to the south every winter.If you feed them all the year you have to spend a lot of money on special food to take care of them.They have to take special care with their feathers and they are delicate.

This story is old so in the past it was easy to take care of geese and to fly, so at that time it was easier but now it is very difficult.
