There’s always another way to get students to remember new items

You can use this “classic” matching activity (pics-words)

or you can create something much more interactive, with a bit of a competitive element (beat the clock).

I can assure your students will remember everything (In this exercise:Vocabulary: Farm animals + Rooms in the house + activities -introducing the present continuous-)

I tried it and it worked !
